Mallow Run will once again host the Carmel Symphony for an
outdoor Summer Concert.
Saturday, July 10 at 7pm
Last year over 1200 people enjoyed this wonderful musical event. This year's
concert is scheduled for Saturday, July 10 at 7pm. (Bill & Laura are members of the Carmel Symphony...that is how they met in 2003.) The program will
consist of a variety of music, including marches, classical works including Shostakovich Festive Overture, and tunes from the "Great American Songbook" performed by the winner of the 2009 Michael Feinstein Foundation competition, Julia Bonnett.

This year's concert is a benefit for the Indiana Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis
foundation. Our friend and fellow musician, Jen Weber - a cellist in the Carmel Symphony - has suffered from CF for many years and in January 2010 underwent a
long-awaited double lung transplant. For the first time in 17 years she is breathing
without the assistance of an oxygen cylinder!
We will have a large stage at the west end of the lawn with ample room to spread
your chairs or blankets on the hill. You are welcome to bring your own picnic, but
food vendors will be available if you prefer to pick up something here. Wine
will be available by the glass or bottle, but wine tasting will end at 6:30pm.
(Other alcohol brought from home is prohibited by law. We will be
checking coolers at the gate, so please leave it at home.)
Tickets are $15 in advance, and $20 on Saturday.
